The Ishtar Gate
The Ishtar Gate, the eighth gate to the inner city of Babylon.
Smaller of the double gates in the museum
constructed in about 575 BC by order of King Nebuchadnezzar II.
Pergamon Altar
"Parchment" from "Pergamum" (modern Bergama), city in Mysia in Asia Minor (Turkey) where it was supposedly first adopted as a substitute for papyrus
